Areas of expertise include civil, structural, mechanical and electrical engineering. All work performed by professional engineers and/or registered roofing consultants with a minimum of five years of experience. Projects include on-site investigation, data capture and photo documentation. Investigation results, including a summary of conclusions, are delivered in report format.* Typical1 turnaround time is 15 days or less from project acknowledgement.

Fire Investigation

Areas of expertise include residential, commercial/large loss and vehicle fires. All work performed by certified fire investigators with a minimum of five years of experience. Projects include on-site investigation, data capture and photo documentation. Investigation results, including a summary of conclusions, are delivered in report format.* All investigations and reports meet or exceed the standards set by NFPA 921. Typical1 response time to the scene is 48 hours or less. Typical1 turnaround time is 15 days or less.

Component Testing

Frequently tested items include household appliances (i.e. water heaters, dryers, etc.) and plumbing components like supply lines. All work performed by engineers or PhDs at the Donan Component Testing Laboratory. Projects include damage/failure analysis, data capture and photo documentation. Investigation results, including identification of failure mode and evaluation of subrogation potential, are delivered in report format.* 1Typical turnaround time is 15 days or less from date the item is received at our laboratory facility in Louisville, KY.
